What a good boy!

Well what can I say. Today was good day with Cracker Jack. It was his very first day of being 'perfect in the house" Starting with last night, he spent the night in crate, with the door opened, and never had any mishap before I woke up (So far so good)

I am glad to say Jack redeemed himself in full today, by not having one mistake indoors. Wither everything going so well he didn't spend much time in crate unless he wanted to, since the crate door was open all day long. For house-training, this a perfect day - especially when compared to yesterday

The only difference was that I determined if wasn't going to both during a relieve walk,  I'd take him for shorter walks to do one thing and then take him for second shorter walk about 15 minutes later. Sounds like a lot of work. but it paid off with a good day.

Other things that occurred was that Jack was able to meet to new dog friends today. Some smaller and some larger... there was no fear ever, he just wanted to play.

Seeing the other dogs must have have lit his fuse... after playing outside a lot outside, he was still wild inside running back and forth from room to room, and jumping from my bed to my couch. It is almost 11pm and he is still in his playful mood after this last walk we took about 10 minutes go.

So aside from being a great day of redemption, I'm counting on Jack having worn himself out tonight and taking a break from his crate to crash with me on the bed (he gets 3/4 of the bed and I get 1/4 at best).
